An old Boy Scout Camp in the middle of Craigleith on the Shores of Georgian Bay with views of Georgian Peaks and the mountains. By looking at the satellite picture you can see the extent of this once busy camp. A developer has bought the land, razed most of the structures and subsequently gone out of business. The property includes several roads, foundations, filled in swimming pool, totem pole and a still standing no fear of heights structure c/w guy wires suspension bridge and all. The famed Craigleith General store was part of the plot and has remained vacant for 2 years. I used to eat breakfast there several years ago and a frequent visitor was the one and only Kim Mitchell. There are more houses on this property which rates a return visit but once again batteries limited my exploration.
I was out for a drive a couple years ago and came across this house, It is empty I did not go inside as I was alone and new to this sort of thing....Easy entry closest neighbor is about a 2min drive.
