West end of car. Large door in end interesting and somewhat unusual. Appears to have been done when car converted to work train service which would have been long before it was set on the ground as a shed.
Wood planks along roof were walkway (known as roofwalk) to provide access along top of train for brakemen. Overhang beyond end of car kept gap between roofwalks on adjacent cars as small as possible.
Mix of wood and steel side bracing. This style of boxcar construction known as double sheated as there is a layer of wood sheating boards on either side of side bracing. Some boxcars were built with wood sheating on inside only leaving bracing visible on outside of car.
