The snow was quite deep - past my hips - but I was determined to get some photos for Clay.

I asked the caretaker if it was ok with him if I put on my snowshoes and took some photos. He told me to go right ahead, but he did have a bit of a smirk, as he thought for sure that I would end up waist-deep in snow, despite the snowshoes. He was impressed that I did not.
