Location # 10865

This was originally Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church. Construction began on March 23, 1964 by contractors Harm Schilthuis and Sons. It was opened and blessed by the Bishop on March 14, 1965. Sometime after 2006 a new church was built and the move was made. It then became the temporary location for the Halton Hills Public Library until their new facility was ready. Now it sits empty with temporary fencing around it. I never got to check out the separate building on the right, hopefully the next explorer can gain access.

OAP writes: Priest's residence is locked up although one of two panes of glass has been broken beside the door. Much of the property is out of sight from the public and I worry that in time this place will become plagued with graffiti and broken windows.

Demolished - probably okay to make it a non-FR location now?
