Telford Cemetery

Such a sad and sorry cemetery. I found very little history of this pioneer cemetery. The size of the plot indicates there would be several graves here, although in reality only a handful of bits and pieces of gravestones are scattered about. A large rock pile includes other smaller pieces, which indicates to me that at one time this land was once cultivated, either erroneously or by design. Whichever the case, the details have been lost over the years. The markers that remain are not whole, nor are they legible for any useful information.
It saddens me to think that the souls buried here lived, loved and worked hard to clear this land, and now they are more or less forgotten by time. No families come here to grieve or to remember, occasionally only to mourn what once was.
