About this location

Passed by this cemetery so many times, but was always too busy to take a really good look. Then, recently, the beautiful fall colours caught my eye and what appeared to be a tiny castle. It was just so breath-taking.
It appears to have been around since the late 1800's - the plaque on the vault reads : City of Vaughan, Maple Cemetery Vault, 1882, Designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. Perhaps I will next time.
The vault is empty. The small rectangular window in the door is missing and there appears to be some 2x4's inside.
