This cemetery is situated on a very busy street and it's hard to imagine that it was once a peaceful country village.

Hagerman's Corners was founded by Nicholas Hagerman in 1803. By 1878 the town had a post office, hotel, general store, and a wagon maker.

Urban sprawl has gobbled up this little village over time and many of it's original structures have been demolished. The most notable structure to be torn down was the original church in 1920. Some structures still remain but this cemetery is a testament to the fact that there once stood a thriving town on this spot.
