About this location
After the War of 1812 & Kingston, Ontario being the 1st Capital of Canada ~ the British decided to build defenses against any American Naval attack.
Fort Henry - along with 5 fortris(a) on the water w/cannons.
Schoal Tower protected the Capital Building (now City Hall)
Open for 1 day ~ 3 years ago (1st time in 125 years).
Only open 1 day a year since - to approx. 100 visitors.
Walls are 14(a) thick on the water side & 9(a) thick on the shore side.

**Unfortunately, I was not able to go inside and take photos because it was guarded at the fence areas but I thought it was still cool to share the photos from the outside**
