This abandoned house is a small house right in the middle of the city. It seems a little odd because civilization thrives around it as it lays there, nestled behind trees. A long overgrown driveway leads up to the house and the whole place is surrounded by an overgrown lawn. The house is comprised of three floors: the basement (consisting of two rooms), the main floor (family room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and living room) and the upstairs (three bedrooms one bathroom). One of the bedrooms was obviously home to two little girls as pink princess stickers decorate the room. Their names are printed on the wall. When i first entered the house I came across a photo album of what I assume was the family that lived there. Everything in the photographs scream normalcy and happiness but the house speaks another story. A scorched fireplace and holes in walls show the abuse (sadly) that the place has taken, but it's still an interesting place to visit and not at all dangerous to enter. I find it fascinating to learn about the history of these buildings that everyone has left to fade into time.

Additional comments by "SafariTours", May 2016:

There was something about this house that just made me feel very drawn to it. I felt very comfortable on the property and inside of the house. The location would have been perfect. The house has some minor damage, but is in relatively good condition compared to others I have come across. The inspirational quotes made me feel at home and likely show the character of the family who use to live there. A lot of evidence to support that the family had 2 young daughters.
