Ware Pioneer Ruins

This is a long-abandoned old pioneer farm in Ware township I visited last Spring. There are the remains of several pioneer farm buildings throughout the property, and scattered farm equipment left to decay. Old topographic maps show a large area of cultivated land, most of which has become grown in with young forest. There are not very many working farms in this area, the ground has a lot of clay and bedrock. This place has been abandoned for several decades, no clues as to who the former owners might have been. The property is located 250m beyond the end of a dead-end road with no address or fire number.
