About this location

King’s Mill used to be a grist mill and then at one point a museum. The last time I was out there in 2009 it was closed up tight and the meter was taken off the side of the building. You can still see the old spill way from the water and parts of the old dam that helped hold the water back. The Lower Trent Conservation Authority maintains the land and has the King’s Mill Conservation Area on the north and south side of the small river (creek?). Further upstream is a wetlands restoration project.

Not much has changed in the two years between my gallery and the previous one.
