About this location
First off, credit for finding this goes to Ethan (canucks747). I thought I had the correct gps for this one but as I drove up a long driveway I saw cars parked at the end and the family dog running around, so I put the car in reverse and got the hell out of there. I then texted Ethan and he said I was several kilometers off so he thankfully got me to the correct location.
This one was a bit tricky to access as I went in the winter and the driveway wasn’t plowed, there wasn’t much of a shoulder and there was a neighbour out across the street. So did I move on, hell no, I parked further up the road and trekked through the knee high snow and got inside.
Now the two biggest highlights here is the floor to ceiling brick fireplace and the octagonal opening on the second floor, I’ve never seen that in a house before. You also get a curved staircase and original hardwood trim throughout. The kids have been inside and can’t spell Satan correctly and have spray painted on some walls but haven’t damaged the house otherwise. I ignored the warning and went into the basement but it was so boring down there that I didn’t take a single picture. It seems renovations started at some point and there has been some additions made to the original home but not sure what lies in store for this unique country house.
