In 2015 local councilors deferred approval for amendment of a zoning bylaw for this property. The amendment was so that Tomlinson Environmental Services could build a warehouse and self-storage units on both properties.


Despite assurance that no hazardous materials would be stored there were concerns about industrial expansion in the area resulting in the deferral.
