Former Methodist Church - on Main St. Picton is being demolished. Started last week without all documents/permits. A stop order was issued. Resumed the work this week.
As of Labour Day Weekend ~ this church is now gone.

Another stop order was issues - after a young worker was inside attaching cables & the demolishion started on the wall he was attaching to. Was rescued - quit on the spot & looks like the person hired is in deep water again for this violation.

I live in this town and it is so sad to see this place demolished. I remember walking past it all the time when I was a little kid. :( They also demolished it on a Sunday!
