In the mid-late 1800s, Greenlaw Corners sat at the corner of Fifth Sideroad and the 4th Line. At its height it had a furniture factory, church, wagon shop, blacksmith, dulcimer maker, cabinet maker, cemetery and homes. It was also known as "The Grange" and still maintains that name to this day.

Most of the buildings were on the NW side of today's Grange Rd. and Mississauga Rd. By 1920 the village was in decline.

The white Melville church, just south of the village, built in 1837, is kept in great shape, despite the fact it longer gives services. It is one of Ontario's oldest surviving wood structures. The granite rock wall is the most beautifully arranged I have ever seen.

Just to the north sit the remains of "The Blue" and "The Red"

That fence is very cool. I've never seen anything like it.
