History
Crack of Don is one of Torontos few abandoned MTB trails that has been closed for a few years now. Apparently the city has worked to close down this trail due to serious concerns about erosion
About this location
This trail runs from Playter Gardens to the trail "Dave Money Hill". In the middle of this trail is a pretty well known spot, evident with all the graffiti. It provides a pretty scenic and more secluded lookout view, which runs directly below the Chester Hill Lookout.
There is another trail that branches off and connects it to the road up there, so if you did want to access this spot you could go directly from there.
My first album basically documents only that spot, but I've posted a second album giving a walkthrough of the FULL trail. Nothing else really special to point out though. It's a trail.
Either way I love this place besides the noise and that sometimes you end up encountering someone else. Not a big deal but when you want to find a place to be alone I wouldn't always count on coming here. It's less packed than Riverdale Park though
