Chester Hill Lookout, one of torontos beloved lookout spots with an amazing view facing downtown. Though if you looked around the area, you wouldve noticed a little trail proceeding over the barrier, as shown in the pictures. Theres nothing very exciting, just a hangout spot with a lot of graffiti, though personally I always enjoy my time coming here. Some history I have on this spot is that it's along the mountain biking trail "Crack of Don". This trail has been opened and closed many times but has been closed for a couple years now, and you'll be able to tell if you follow the trail that it's not maintained. I do have a lot of pictures and I might've made it look very complex, though it's all very self explanatory once you get to the location. If you did end up going and wondering where the trail leads north and south, going south leads straight to the parkette located on the intersection of danforth and cambridge in playter estates. Heading north down the trail will lead to an active trail (The trail where the spot is you could consider abandoned). Taking a right down the active trail takes you to broadview avenue, though going left will take you to the Todmorden Mills site. Just want to add that I have seen people hangout out at the spot a couple times when I've came with friends, and it seems that recently the location has attracted squatters, where I also posted pictures in what seems like there might be somebody living here or used to. Though assuming there was a lot of traces, I wouldn't expect a homeless person to leave behind so much, which I would assume that somebodies probably living there currently. If you see a sign at the main area which mentions cameras, the cameras are only to install some kind of security for people disturing the neighbourhoodss peace, though this spot is your out of sight.
