Hazards
There isn't really any hazards. Other then security and cameras. The place is also fenced off and it's in a really busy area on a main street. The new Hospital is right behind it and there are houses and stores close by as well.
About this location
The West Lincoln Memorial Hospital first opened on January 7, 1946, in the former Deer Park Golf Club clubhouse that was located on Park Rd. It was dedicated to veterans of the First and Second World Wars. Unfortunately on January 29, 1948, a fire destroyed the original building. And for 14 months, the hospital operated out of a temporary location at Nixon Hall. In 1949 the community rallied to build a new 34-bed hospital. Which opened on October 23, 1949. Additions were made over the decades, including a 25-bed expansion in 1961 and major extensions between 1963 and 1973 that added emergency, intensive care, and operating rooms. The hospital joined the Hamilton Health Sciences in 2014, connecting it to one of Canada's largest health systems. After being open for decades ground was broken for a new facility in the spring of 2022. The project was built behind the building with the cost of approximately $224 million dollars. The new state-of-the-art hospital officially opened to the public on November 24, 2025. The new building is nearly 80% larger than the old one, featuring 61 single-room beds, an expanded emergency department, and a specialized maternal and newborn program. Mostly everything from the hospital has been moved over to the new one. And the old stuff is getting donated to other places. The building has mostly been cleaned out with only a small bit of stuff inside. Most rooms seem to also be empty. And they are starting to gut the building and then it will be demolished for a new expanded parking lot and green space.

I didn't take as many photos as I wanted too. Nor was I able to check out the full place as I got caught by secuity in the building after being in it for around 20 minutes.
