About this location
Just on the NW side of Haskill Rd and Lakeshore Rd you can see old foundations on top of a high hill. Beside the hill sit these old buildings that were part of the William Hatch farmstead. The Haskill family owned the farms on the other side of the road as can been seen via the Port Hope Atlas map dated 1878 below.
