About this location
This is the old Bayview bridge over the West Don at Lawrence. It was abandonded in 1929. Bayview was expanded to 6 lanes 1960 according to photos available from the Toronto Archives. The road leading south from the bridge climbs the hill.

Park at Lawrence and Park Lane Circle (just east of the site) and walk down the hill on Lawrence. There is no parking at the bottom of the hill.

wiked! i love it when new things are built to replace old ones, but the old are still there decades later for us to share on sites like these and enjoy:-)
