Bathurst st north of Greenlane dead ends, but you can still walk down the single lane dirt road. At the bottom of the hill is an old bridge over a small river. You can walk further and come out at bathurst st again.

This area is under some serious road construction, as Bathurst St is being widened and improved to go straight through. I doubt this tiny bridge has survived.
Just visited the part with the diamond sign heading South. Took my Jeep to the top of the ridge just beyond the sign, off to the right and had a look. I could not see far enough and it was extremely hot, so I turned around, for now. Is the road passable at all? I can post the two pics I took.
I once crashed on a motorcycle here years ago, back when the road was still open. The main problem was that the road was so steep and narrow that plows could not get through in the winter, and the one lane bridge was a hazard at the best of times.
Road was closed because it was too dangerous, was known as devils elbow, we used to go there with our gt snow racers. A few years back, there were some cars abandoned at the bottom of that bridge.
Never knew there was anything down there. I followed bathurst out to the dead end once looking for places too :p

This road has now opened up for traffic, great amount of construction occurred here and the landscaped has greatly changed. Only the foundations of the bridge still exist.
