About this location

Just outside of town on Duff(a)s Road you will find this charming little cemetery. Hubbell Cemetery is the final resting place of several pioneers of Ashburn, some stones dating back to the 1850s. As with most cemeteries of the time, many of the dead were children as conditions for the pioneers were harsh. Many of the children succumbed to such diseases as cholera, scarlet fever and typhoid.
