What caught my attention before I even spotted the structure was two wood crosses painted white, no longer standing erect but had fallen to the wayside along with the structure. These crosses covered with age and raptured by nature represents the death of individuals at this location.
Walking the grounds of where this structure lays you can almost feel the presence of what may have also held a grand old house, which is now gone. The storage shed, is set back on the property and as you walk up to it, you realize that it is only accessible by a man made grass bridge, as a moat protects it from intruders. I wondered if at one time this may have been a small house, since it sports a veranda along the front. As i ventured to the backside, I found well worn farm equipment treasures of yester years gone by.

Over the past winter, this place has almost completely collapsed. I'll try to get an updated gallery up when I get the chance.
