I've known about this place for a while but haven't had a chance to check it out until just recently. I kind of wish I hadn't. What I found in the barn, which is very dilapidated, were at least 7 dead pigs and cows. There may be even more, as there were scattered bones here and there throughout the building. These animals have been dead a long time, and some could barely be recognized. I have no idea what happened there. I would like to think that they were killed, and not just left there to die, but the positions they were in make me think otherwise.

I did not go into the hayloft, as that part was very unstable. If anyone does venture into the barn, be careful: there is long grass (and snow soon) and junk lying around underneath. The house itself has burnt to the ground and all that can be seen is a pit that was the basement and some rusting furniture. there is a shack of some sort that seems to have been an office.

It is back off the road and is hard to see unless you are looking for it. IF you are squeamish at all about this kind of thing, do not look at the photos. They can be disturbing. I was sick to my stomach the whole time I was in there, but felt I needed to document and share. I've checked out a number of abandoned places in my time but have never come across anything like this.

The barn has now been torn down. The owner was an elderly man that passed away and sadly had no family to care for his animals resulting in ..... well, what we all found in the barn!

Visited this place yesterday..extremely interesting story to be found here. It seems as though whoever owned the farm was insulating it then just...stopped. It also seems possible that he was attempting to create a living space inside the barn. I have contacted various entities to find out the history of this place, but to no avail. Any information would be appreciated.

What a sad place. Only a sicko would leave animals to die like that. Definitely on the 'Never Visit' list.

i was there last summer, when you walk into the barn go to the very far right you can see an animal died shortly after birth. yea theres a boar there on the very far left in the back corner, still has all his fur, they were just left there,no doubt.

My husband found this place quite a few years ago..sadly the animals were much more fresh at that point :( He says they were boars though, and it looks like they were probably just left :(

Amazing find! What an incredible story, but sounds gruesome as well. Thank you for putting up the location!

I was there in late November, photographed trailer, building and house ruins. Didn't explore the barn, definite uneasy feeling to the place, seeing your barn photos I can understand why.

I visited this place in the summer. Fortunately I never went into the barn. Never documented it as I saw no redeeming value. Sorry for your gruesome find.
