This house is pretty much right next to the Maple lodge chicken shop on winston churchill. There's road construction right in front of it. We only went into the back part of the house, the rest was all dark and didn't have a flash light with us. Plus there was a big bang upstairs and it pretty much scared the bejeezus out of me, so I booted out of there, hah! I LOVED the old tree swing out front though....it made for a nice video I also took of it swinging on it's own in the wind....

I wish I had been able to get in! Some sections of the house looked freshly boarded up unfortunately.
Cont from below... I asked what their plans are for this piece of land and he said there aren't any that he knows of.
Cont from below... A little while later Maple Lodge security stopped by. I told him I was just taking some photos and didn't ask me to leave but wanted to know if I'll be here much longer. He told me that they are monitoring the property because because they don't want people getting into the house. He also said that Maple Lodge owns this property now.
I went there today for some spring photos and I had two visitors. First a nice police officer stopped by and asked what I was doing... After seeing I was just taking photos he was fine with that and after a short and nice conversation he left.
Went there again to show some friends, had a visit from the 'Chicken Police" from next door. "Just taking some pictures", They wanted to see them ??? just to make sure I wasn't taking pictures of the Chicken plant next door. So beware.
lol, the floors weren't so bad where I was, not sure about the rest of the house. Didn't go in much further because it was really dark and didn't have a flash light...plus really creepy hah! :) Also, nice pics Phrenzee! Didn't see that you posted them. Nice to see what it looked like in some of the spots I didn't get to. And that mold looks horrendous! I was standing by it in the dark-yuck! lo
Oh wow, nice. Don't think I would have made it up there. That house gave me the heebie jeebies.
