The Coons' Lair - House and Farm

This is an abandoned house along Highway 56 towards Hamilton which also features a collection of farm houses. It appears the place was under renovations judging by all the equipment and tools littered around the place (paint trays, pieces of dry wall, etc) until everyone just got up and left. It is now home to a few unpleasant friends (if you know what I mean).

I have had little time to get more pictures and I only did a quick sweep when I visited the area. I highly recommend visiting during the evening hours as this road is used often throughout the afternoons. There are a few hidden gems in the place and I do not doubt there is treasure to be found. Just be sure to respect the current residents Mr and Mrs Coon, they weren't very fond me snooping and are too camera-shy for a photo; they also do not know what a toilet is so watch your feet.
