This beautiful home was owned by the Hamilton family, and now sits abandoned. It was likely bought by the government in preparation for their planned road widening, and is now either going to be demolished or may gain a historic designation which could save the building. If the home is designated a heritage site, it will be moved to Markham Heritage Estates.
This home shares the land with Chepack's Country Market, which is now closed due to the owner's retirement.
