Dunedin Darntootin

Cool looking house and garage, abandoned in the middle of the village of Dunedin. Right beside the river, so plenty of room to park and look around. This area can be busy with nosey neighbours, especially when you pull up on a motorcycle early in the morning. I was continually watched by dog-walkers and lawn-mowers, so I had to watch my steps. Still managed to get a few shots and check the place out. The security is very complacent at best, a tent peg secures the latch on the garage, and a wire wrapped around the door frame is all that protects the house. Easy access when the time is right, but it wasn't my time. The house is obviously unoccupied, with a couple of broken windows and not much to be seen from the outside. Never did get a look in the garage, which is nicely adorned with a rusty Goodyear sign on the front. There is also a small barn closer to the river which may be of interest. The grass around the buildings is cut, but then so was the grass all along the roadway in this pretty little village. Closer to the house, the vegetation was left overgrown. The place warrants another visit at another time, when I'm car-bound and not so obvious.
