Kormak is a ghost town not far from Devon, Chapleau and the nearby other ghost towns of Tophet and Nemegos in Northern Ontario. Access is relatively easy, if driving out of Devon or Chapleau you get to Highway 129, and cross onto Highway 667 before coming across the incorrectly named "Kormack" logging road. Don't take the original road, it's far too grown in. Follow it until the CPR crossing and you'll be at what remains of Kormak. There's not much apart from some leftover foundations of the sawmill and what looks like an abandoned dock at the head of the lake. Could be some sawmill related stuff, but I don't know for sure. However, 3 original homes still remain in use, one even retaining the CPR station sign.

CPR mainline looking northwest.
Apparently there used to be a spur here.
CPR mainline looking southeast.
Ditto.
Remains of a rail speeder axle.
Probably not a part of the original town.
Looking at the lake, holiday homes are faintly seen in the distance.
On an old trail to the dock.
Old original road to the abandoned dock.
Not much of a road anymore.
CPR bridge looking north.
Train 185 flew by on here not long later.
Remains of a dock on the lake.
While there's not much other than foundations elsewhere, this is here, and is also a home to a beaver dam.
Original sign still stands at a holiday home.
Nice to see people still live out here.
