This is the image that attracted my attention. In my wild optimism, I hoped that the little black dot on the roof was the siren of a somehow missing police car. I wasn't even thinking about the obvious: a car skylight.

Not wanting the trip out to be a bust, I wandered the woods looking for anything else of interest in the quarry area. This dagger-mounted medieval torture rack was one such item. Just pretend.

Anybody remember the horror movie series Jeepers Creepers? I know this isn't a rusty old cab over engine truck, but it still reminded me of the foreboding looking vehicle in the movie.
