I'll entertain that comment... listing name changed! Feel free to comment again next year :)

This looks like a really great spot with untapped exploring potential, for sure. Plus it looks like a place with a nice, relatively easy approach with a slight bit of time investment. Thanks! I added this one to my list for when in the area.

This guy was illegally occupying hydro property. My friend at city hall said the City of Welland was after him for years and he eventually did vacate, but left all this junk behind for, presumably, the city to take care of.

As a rockhounder... great post!
This gallery is only the unit on the south side accessible from that door. Maybe that's why it looks so different? It was also pretty small and squatters absolutely destroyed it between me shooting it and posting it on here. The entire building has since opened up, with six different sublets. They were much more spacious and interesting. If your gallery has any of the upstairs floor, that's why it isn't recognizable. The entire building has been resecured again, but with abandonments on either side of it, there are no neighbours to keep squatters at bay. It opens frequently.

Nice shots! Been a while since I've seen those stables.
Nope!... went by today and I must say, they have tripled down on securing that door now. I don't think it's going to be open again for another half a decade, at least. So answer me the age-old question: where did the stairs go? Just a sealed up wall at the bottom?
Oh, wow...The door was open!!! I seriously did not think that was ever going to be possible with the Seaway Authority RIGHT there. Dammit! I wish I could have been there for this. I might cruise out there today and check out whether it's still like that, but I highly, highly doubt it--especially with the path right there beside it. Thanks for the neat look inside though... finally!
HOLY solar array!!!
Sadly, I was waiting for access here for many months -- and then the demolition happened overnight. What a disappointment! It looked like a potentially great house.

Complete 100% lethargy! It was so cold that I'm surprised it even had enough energy to lift its head up. I think this might have been the very first weekend for snake emergence from hibernation.
Beautiful photo--I'd say this is the money-shot, right here.

Years ago, when abandoned but before this place was boarded up, the cat was so freshly dead that I tapped on the window thinking it was just sleeping and I had misinterpreted the vacancy of the house.
I didn't even notice that while taking the shot Superss. That is ridiculous. Who would design it that way? I guess you could still manage if you stepped over and straddled it each time.
Great perspective shot. So glad to see that someone else finally got out here to enjoy these rusty hulks.
