That is no train station, the building was used for loading pulp chips cut from sawmill refuse for shipment by rail to a pulp mill. Devon was the location of 4 sawmills since 1900. At one time logs were shipped by rail to a pulp mill for processing. In recent years the pulp mills have accepted wood chips and area mills not on the railway trucked their chips to here.
