About this location

This was once an indoor/outdoor fitness centre operated by Goodlife Fitness. However, in October of 2013, the location moved to an upgraded, indoor facility closer to Masonville. Since then, the pool and tennis courts, as well as two buildings and a couple of sheds, have remained abandoned. Inside the main building, all of the weights and fitness equipment appear untouched. The outdoor equipment has seen better days, however.

Noticed a video camera on a building at the back at time of my visit. Don''t know if it was even hooked up, but didn''t matter anyways because it was pointed in the total wrong direction lol

Love this location so so so much! What's even cooler is I wanted to use this location for a portrait session for about 4 months and I finally did, and a week later I got hired at the GoodLife Corp office! how Ironic.

This discussion has been very interesting! 4 members think without a doubt it should be FM, the site operator says exteriors only means BM, and Admin says use your own judgement. It all boils down to a sense of personal responsibility with posting things online, and what you perceive may or may not happen. I move that we move this discussion to the forum where Andrew has started a topic.

I'm guessing that's why the equipment was left behind, phrenzee. Probably the same stuff they had back then.

I live nearby and see this property rather frequently. I will keep my eye out for any reasons its status might be better off upped to FM.

Drew - If you think it would be easy to back a truck in and load it with high-end fitness equipment, plus some window air conditioners, then you should make it FM IMO. Your call..

Just my two cents but id also rec. Making this a full member location. Looks pretty unknown and in good condition. Would hate for ne'er do wells to come along and ruin it. :/ But in the end it is your location and you can do with it what you would like. :)

Well there ya go! I stand corrected. I'm sure no bad people will go here anyways.

This location was made active by ground state after I created it offline.

Superss I thought OAP made it so basic members could not make a new location active. He said he did anyways, so not sure why this type of nonsense is still going on over and over and over. But, that's just our opinion, it doesn't really count.

I think I would make this FM now. Despite it's location being pretty visible you don't want this site to be the source that convinces someone to decide to load their truck up with some of "all of the weights and fitness equipment".
