Church of the Herald Angel

The Church of the Herald Angel (Anglican) was opened in 1885 and deconsecrated in 1972. The church building was demolished the following year. All that remains is the cemetery, currently mowed by the township, but not otherwise maintained.

The cemetery was started in 1860, presumably with the burial of Hannah Thompson, wife of James Anderson Sr. It was transferred to the Anglican church in 1889, and closed in 1959. There were 30 burials. I could only find 24 recorded on monuments.
