I found this place because my gps likes to lead me astray. ;) This house is owned by the GRCA and they check on it regularly. We actually met one of the GRCA employees while we were taking exterior photos. He was pleasant and told us the house was abandoned and had to be boarded up because young people liked to go party there. The property and surrounding farmlands belong to the GRCA and they are reclaiming it as a bird migration route. It's an ongoing project, with a few acres being reclaimed each year.

@trail yes always a white truck in the driveway so I never got close enough to really look around!

@f.o.s. - was it a white GRCA truck? One showed up while we were there. He said the land is open to the public for hiking and bird watching, they just randomly check on the house to make sure no one is going in it ;-)

Excellent work getting in here! Every time I tried for it there was a truck parked in the driveway. Sad to see it's so boarded now :(
