About this location

Erbtown Ontario was started right here back around 1850 when Abraham Erb and his four brothers came to this area to operate a sawmill and later built a woolen mill, all around the end of James Street. This cemetery sits on Lot 14, Concession 9 of Norwich Township formerly South Norwich Township at the western town limits of Otterville, Ontario. The cemetery and once church[outline seen on Google] is or was on W.F. Kay's property in 1880 and at least 3 family members are here. In the second picture, of my gallery, the sun reflects off a Kay family member's headstone right to my eyes, which I found out later was the previous owner of this cemetery property. Stunning entrance.
