Beautiful "Northwinds" horse farm with large house. It used to allow lessons, boarding etc. After going up the long driveway you can see the house is a 3 story with a 3 car garage. There are many holes in the roof and the only way to get into the house is through the disgusting and rotted basement. The house has what used to be a large garden, above ground pool, and 2 large barns. The house has large bedrooms, great dining room with fireplace and grand stairway/ front entrance.

The first barn is wood like any other barn on an ordinary farm, nothing interesting. The second barn contains 34 horse stalls and a huge riding range. Up the stairs there is an apartment which in its day was occupied by the horse trainer/coach. The property is beautiful and in its day held many horses.

Update August 2015: more vandalism than when I discovered this place. The stove is no longer there. A few more windows have been smashed and stuff from the garage has been thrown around. The above ground pool is gone as well.

April 2016: Over the past year I have noticed lots of activity. Mayn people have taken the barn board off the barn and there are always fresh tracks up the driveway. However, I drove by Northwinds farms yeterday, and there were 6 cops cars driving up the driveway and a black pickup truck was met by them as they were driving down the driveway. Not sure what was going on, but it seems this is a hot spot.

Lots of earth-destroying equipment on scene now. The house still stands but all trees and other buildings have been removed. The house will be gone very soon.

I never knew of this place, great find. Is the driveway gated, or can I drive up?

I couldn't bring my camera in as entry to the house was very difficult. Next time I go back I will take more photos!

Do you have more photos? Would love to see this fireplace and grand front entrance you speak of
