Cons Abandoned house

We found this house about 5 years ago. It was about half way between Mount Forest and Durham, just west off Highway 6. It was in an advanced state of decay, but still had much of the furniture intact. In the woodshed attached behind was an old stone fireplace with books and stuff half burned inside. The stairwell was totally scary to climb, as you could see right through some of the steps and down into the basement far below. Just across the road was a completely collapsed barn with old silo.

Sadly, the house and barn were recently demolished, so you will not see anything if you go there, but I thought it was worth it to include jus tin case anyone else had pictures or memories of this beautifully creepy old house... If you go on Google Earth you can still see the location of the house and barn at the intersection.
