Demolished House in Whitby, Ontario, Canada

Location # 12853

There are several buildings here, including the main barn, 2 feed barns, along with 4 silos and a large shed that looks like it was used as a tractor shed. The house on this property has been demolished, but the farm buildings are still standing and in reasonable shape.

There is a lot of equipment left inside, and for some reason, it looks like the last hay harvest was put in the barn, but that was it. The feed building has water underneath the grated floor, so be careful. The upper level of the main barn is mostly solid, although there are some precarious places in the floor.

In one room at the front, you will see an excercise bike of all things! Kind of random, and although it's obviously old, it looks like you could climb on and use it.

Defintely worth the trip!

Update May 2016

Unfortunately, this location has been trashed quite a bit since my last visit. All that remains of the excercise bike are 2 broken gauges, and a lot of stuff has been moved around or destroyed. The shed is now an absolute mess. Even the very cool old fuses I got a shot of last time are now gone. One thing I missed last time was the boat sitting outside. It's rather derelict, but still cool to see there.
