The XXX Files

This house is a goldmine.

It sits on top of a hill and almost looks occupied from the road. The property has a few barns and sheds and a number of old cars and parts. Some of the vehicles are at the top of the driveway and still have license plates on them... this made me second guess myself as I walked up to the house. The house has a HUGE tire swing made from a tractor tire.

This house has been completely torn apart from people scavenging through everything. It's chaos. But almost everything is still there. There's still tons of classic Victorian style furniture. The pictures are there... some hanging on the walls... some taken down and stacked. The little knick knacks, the books, vhs's, tv's, computers, clothing, photos... everything. It really looks like it was a gorgeous home at some point.

Then... a note warning of rat poison. Rats. I didn't see any but I did hear little noises while I was in the house (I was alone at this one so it could have been in my head lol). My guess is that's part of the reason for leaving it behind... although I really have no clue. I also noticed the faint smell of gas as I explored this house... although there is no power or anything.. I don't know why I would smell gas?

Anyways... Despite how everything is turned upside down in the house... It's a total gem.
