About this location
Situated on the southwest corner of Lot 11, South Range (Payson Walker), Walker Cemetery is the final resting place of 16 souls who helped settle Howe Island. The cemetery is indicated on the Meacham Atlas of 1878. Walker Cemetery is in excellent condition with most of the stones well maintained and legible. Transcriptions, were applicable, are provided in the photo descriptions.
