Lotan [pioneer] Cemetery

Being on Century Drive, just down from Olde drive, you get the feeling of history around here. Another great pioneer cemetery on the edge of a farm miles from anything busy. Someone just had to destroy the lettering on the cemetery gate. The sign on the tree should have a metal strap around it instead of pounding nails in it, I feel. A local metal shop needs to step up and make thicker letters and weld them to the gate. Since it appears that this cemetery sign was destroyed before, a painted one bolted to the gate, may be a better option.
