This retro house with the funky green '70s carpet all the way through is the lone survivor of what was once a row of nice homes. There is a subdivision being built all around it, and the lot next door has been turned into a storm pond. I suspect it won't be long before it succumbs to the wrecking ball.
The driveway is being used as a parking area for construction vehicles, and there are a few other vehicles there, including a boat which may have belonged to the previous owner. (I didn't get a shot of the vehicles, but will try to get back there to include them in my gallery).
There isn't a whole lot left inside, although I discovered an interesting clock in the kitchen, and am energy measuring device which was in the freezer of all places. The fireplace in the living-room is kind of cool. The basement was completely flooded, & I didn't fancy a swim when I was there. Out front is an old & deteriorating Halloween decoration, which was an interesting touch.
There are neighbours right across the street, so approach carefully.
