About this location

The historic Pelee Island Lighthouse.

To be found, follow a winding trail through the woods or approach by boat. The trail is rough (not wheel chair accessible) that will take you from the woods to the water line.

A Look Inside

A look inside the lighthouse. This thing is generally locked up tight. Not aware of any other recent photos of the inside. Pictures are from this last winter.

Trail is not especially rough these days. There are some portions that go through swamp but it has wooden bridges put down. When you exit the trail at the beach hang a left. The beach here is attractive but there is a wild undertow in the immediate area, so do not swim here. Bugs can be a bit intense at certain times of the year.
