About this location

Resting place of some of Scugog's earliest pioneers and settlers. Most burials date back to the 1800s and into the early 1900s. The grounds are not maintained, the grass is left to grow. Many of the stones are damaged or have fallen over. The ground is very uneven for walking, watch your step. Abandoned in every sense of the word. To get here you have to walk a path through a field and into a small copse of trees. You cannot see the cemetery from the road. Unless you have prior knowledge (like the coordinates found here) you would never stumble across this ancient burial ground.
