Grow Op - Destined for Demo

While out on a road trip a few weeks back I came across this house after leaving the "Tree House" location. I wasnt sure if this place had been abandoned as per street views seemed that the laneway has been overgrown with grass the last 2 years and as of 2017 the property was taken off all for sale sites. Asking price was at $2,750,000 which has 6+1 bed, 6 bath and 5000+ Sq/ft. As of now the house is locked up tight with no POE and not much is left inside. Hoping to make a trip back this summer and see how its looking then and hit up a few more new finds out that way! There are many places in this area with signs of soon demolition.

[/u] I first discovered this large house back in august of 2018 while looking for other locations.

This 6500 square foot mansion is located in a neighborhood of high end multi-million dollar homes. it was custom built in 1982, and only 37 years later is sitting vacant...

The reason why you may ask? the previous owner purchased the home for 2.7 million dollars in 2017. and shortly after purchasing,they decided to rent out the 7 bedroom, 6 bathroom home for 3300$ a month, the tenant used the home to LEGALLY grow medical marijuana, but in early 2018 that tenant was evicted due to being behind on rent payments and the house has sat vacant, slowly decaying ever since.

Inside you are greeted with a gorgeous spiral staircase in the front foyer,along with some outdated floor tiles covered in dirt. along with multiple other staircases,4 fireplaces, a large kitchen, 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Today you will find the house in quite disarray, complete walls have been taken out, dirt from growing plants is all over the house, vents hanging from the ceilings, and a very musty smell all throughout the house. the power does still work.

Outside you will find an unmaintaned driveway, overgrown gardens and lawn, and a large patio set and deck in the backyard. there are also many cameras on the outside of the house. they did not seem to be active.
