Whole Street of Empty Houses

JULY 2023 - UPDATE:

This entire street has finally been razed flat -- July, 2023. There is nothing left to see at all at this location.

Was driving past this area a few weeks ago after a day of exploring Hamilton's many waterfalls, and noticed a whole street of boarded up houses. Now that's something I'm not used to seeing, so I researched it upon returning home and found out McMaster University has bought up the whole South side of the street (as well as 50 Dalewood, and 43-55 Forsyth), with the intention of demolishing the houses and building a student residence there. Got the pictures this past weekend during another Hamilton visit (finally found Canterbury Falls too! that was a tricky one). Didn't attempt to get in these houses - they seem to be well boarded up, and are also fully surrounded by perimeter fencing.
