About this location
On Mount Joy Rd in Scugog Township just east of Burketon stand this wooden church with only 1/4 of it still remaining. Behind it is a barn with tonnes of old stuff and implements.. This is on property that belonged to William Hooey in 1877 but the church was built at a later date. The Mountjoys were a local family in the area too..
