I call this collapsed. But not totally collapsed. Most will look at it and think, "Yup, thats collapsed.", BUT the metal beams are still there.

I had watched this burn in the summer and the VERY NEXT DAY, the boards went up. Then comes winter and I am on my way to another location and I glance over and there is a loose board on the side of the place. I grabbed the high visibility vest, and went for it. UNTIL I looked inside. A absolute charred mess. Beams. Collapsed main floor into the basement (didnt know it had a basement before entry). It was a no go. It was a mess. I was convinced I would die. So around I turned and cursed my way out the demolition fencing.

Fastforward to yesterday. Having a coffee at Borden Tims across from this place and there is a group of E-Bikes. One of these guys owns an E-Bike shop (not the fire victim one) and I guess he removed sme salvageable stuff from the building as work. So he told me to walk the beams but pay attention. Some are metal, some are wood. The floor is not good until you get to the far side where the car is. This place is a E-Bike graveyard.

There are at least 2 E-Bikes in the basement. The HVAC room appears flooded. I can only assume the car wheel legit fell thru the floor but I am gonna take a closer look at how that wheel ended up a floor lower.

For all intensive purposes, this IS collapsed. And you gotta be a bit crazy to walk the beams and almost as crazy to walk the fence along King St. Not a rope, but my muscles were TIGHT AF due to the sketchyness.

APRIL 2021 - And Im not saying ANYONE IN THIER RIGHT MINDS (Im not, ask ones who have met me) should go for this or try, but the board I hopped thru is sealed. Sometimes I wonder if they follow me around…..
