And all they did was watch. I was able to find articles about the fire in this multi unit residence that caused about half a mil in damage. The fire damaged 2 other neighboring houses as well. They were restored. A firefighter was apparently injured fighting this fire according to CTV. Seems to be a common number. Walking around with Pikaswed420 aimlessly after one that all we have done is look at. This other one, It may be the one that got away because I had thought this one would.

I was looking for some kind of archive pic as it seems to be an old WW2 house. Or at least that era. It wouldnt be a shock to me if I were to learn it was housing for one of the workers of the factories that are closeby.

The first article was 570 News, https://www.570news.com/2016/04/15/multi-house-fire-in-downtown-kitchener/
Next on was not really an article, but a album of the place when it was burning, http://www.firescenes.net/?p=10774.

But it was the lions, that sat and watched it burn that caught my attention in the first place. Not many places have stone statues in the likeness of those large cats. The upper windows on the front are boarded and painted (and the back too I believe). Bad air, I think asbestos is present. Drywall, insulation and all kinds of other GREAT stuff.

Those damn LIONS. They watch over the driveway. There is a fountain in the front/side yard that also has lions looking out in all 4 directions. The ceilings, and the fact that the lights are AWOL make me think they woulda been CRAZY NICE as the landowner seems to have salvaged them. The tile remnants in the upstairs SEVERELY fire damaged level, are also neat. Flowers. Raccoons have been here before me clearly (DAMN) and it seems that other than myself, the place is untouched by our kind and only touched by fire. Surprising to me after so much time it wasnt picked off and infiltrated by SOMEONE. Many dont have accounts here, and sometimes I find thier work that allows entry. This one took me at least a week of watching an M-T house and waiting for the opportune moment.

Its a SUPER SUPER SUPER busy BUSY BUSY spot. Many places I am doing are. Ahahahaha. Its the adrenaline. Looks like some kind of long term reno. Its still totally possible to save it.

Noticed in early winter that this and some others in the area have been demolished. Noticed in Dec, maybe early January.
