This was a location I recognized from another explorer posting it when I drove past it. I quickly turned around to check it out. I also had canucks747 and Digitisation with me. Unfortunately the stone farmhouse was now completely boarded up with no entry. That was disappointing as the interior was quite nice from what I saw online. However the one garage building was accessible and was a cool explore. It was mostly empty, but there were some interesting items left behind. Obviously they used to service cars here before and the building had a retro vibe to it.
The house and all the buildings on the property will be demolished as there is a proposal to build a new subdivision with 249 units.
aeb00: This is a beautiful stone farmhouse located in a rural area. RiddimRyder Photography and I were driving around some backroads one day when I spotted this gorgeous home set back in a field and up a long driveway. The driveway was paved for most of the length, but closer to the house I noticed that the grass was quite long and obviously not maintained - even in the middle of the driveway - so we decided to drive up and take a peek. Sure enough, this house was vacant and there were actually a couple boarded windows, an eavestrough down and an open door, so we decided to check it out. Now we knew this house was quite beautiful on the outside, but I really didn't expect it to be as nice as it is inside as well! There were some dated wallpapers throughout and gorgeous wood and stone. The bathroom was absolutely one of a kind with a large jacuzzi tub floating in the centre of a huge spa-like room overlooking 2 walls of windows with a magnificent view! I have to say - there are not that many bathrooms in abandoned homes that I could envision myself having a nice bubblebath in - but this was definitely one of them! The house was laid out in almost a split level with a large living area room part way up the stairs before you continue to the top floor where there were several bedrooms. This house was much larger inside than it appeared to be from the outside. The house will very likely be saved one day. I'm unsure why it is vacant at this time or how long it has been but the power and water were cut off at the time of our visit.
We've been by this house again more recently and saw a big development sign out front and the house was freshly boarded on the lower level so it seems that this one will be lost to development like so many others.

Freaktography: This Abandoned Stone Country Home with Automotive Garage and Store is found off a main highway on a large plot of land that likely destined for development.
The Automotive Service Center and Store don’t actually look real, it turns out that that man had a collection of old gas pumps and the garage building served as his man cave.
